Big wildfire is raging on September 14 in the area of Belli Iskar village, South-West of Bulgaria, at high altitude, in a hard-to-reach terrain.
A crew from the 24th Krumovo Air Base with a Cougar helicopter takes part in the fire fighting efforts.
They will help to contain the fire by dropping water through the "bambi bucket" fire extinguishing system. The helicopter will get water from Iskar dam or other appropriate water source in the area.
The coordinator from the structures of the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" is also on board the helicopter.
