The Humanitarian Assistance Programme for displaced persons from Ukraine granted temporary protection in Bulgaria is extended.
The Council of Ministers adopted a Decision amending and supplementing the Programme for Humanitarian Assistance to Displaced Persons from Ukraine Granted Temporary Protection in the Republic of Bulgaria, adopted by Decision No 317 of 2022. The Decision extends the Programme until 31 March 2023 under the current conditions.
With the changes, the Ministry of Tourism, as the administrator of the Programme, is entitled to require a declaration of compliance from the legal representative of the applicant for the assistance. This strengthens the control over the accountability of the services provided.
The declaration will be signed with a qualified electronic signature and signed using the Secure Electronic Delivery System.
The documents for the payment of the aid shall be made available to the National Operational Headquarters in order to support the work of its working groups.
