Bulgaria’s head of state, President Rumen Radev signed the decrees for the appointment of a caretaker government, which will take office on September 16, and on the dissolution of the Parliament and on the setting of the date of the parliamentary elections.
The Speaker of the 46th Parliament, Iva Miteva, read the presidential decree dissolving parliament. It was issued on September 14, and the Parliament will be dissolved on September 16.
The official ceremony, at which President Rumen Radev will present the structure, line-up and priorities of the future caretaker government, will take place at 09.00 on Thursday, September 16, at the Presidency.
The third parliamentary elections this year will be held on November 14,2021 together with the first round of the presidential elections.
