Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,371 new cases, positivity rate is at 6.54%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,371 from 20,952 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 20.

The daily percentage of positive testsis at 6.54%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 438,698.

The active cases are 19,214.

Of the total, 2,161 patients are in hospitals, 174 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 249 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 401,046

· 12,132 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,201,084

· 27 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 18,438.
