Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,629 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,629 from 24,399 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 10.

The daily percentage of positive tests is at 6.7%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 468,300.

The active cases are 36,577.

Of the total, 4,500 patients are in hospitals, 378 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 1,268 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 412,336

· 11,918 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,391,930

· 52 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 19,387.
