The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,724 from 21,167 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 17.
The daily percentage of positive tests is at 8.1%.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 74; Bourgas - 103; Varna - 127; Veliko Turnovo – 73; Vidin – 24; Vratsa – 33; Gabrovo – 47; Dobrich – 32; Kardzhali - 11; Kyustendil - 29; Lovech - 44; Montana - 57; Pazardzhik - 29; Pernik - 22; Pleven – 48; Plovdiv - 157; Razgrad - 28; Rousse - 36; Silistra – 28; Sliven - 64; Smolyan – 28; Sofia district - 65; Sofia city – 310; Stara Zagora - 86; Targovishte - 38; Haskovo - 36; Shoumen – 60; Yambol - 35.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 478,885.
The active cases are 39,599.
Of the total, 4,627 patients are in hospitals, 396 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,964 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 419,410
· 11,198 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,448,482
· 67 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 19,876.
