The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,862 from 24,745 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 16.
The daily percentage of positive tests is at 7.5%

Blagoevgrad – 125; Bourgas - 113; Varna - 167; Veliko Turnovo – 70; Vidin – 27; Vratsa – 28; Gabrovo – 36; Dobrich – 33; Kardzhali - 19; Kyustendil - 24; Lovech - 34; Montana - 33; Pazardzhik - 75; Pernik - 36; Pleven – 29; Plovdiv - 149; Razgrad - 40; Rousse - 56; Silistra – 25; Sliven - 64; Smolyan – 13; Sofia district - 68; Sofia city – 332; Stara Zagora - 94; Targovishte - 37; Haskovo - 61; Shoumen – 24; Yambol - 50.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 477,161.
The active cases are 39,906.
Of the total, 4,582 patients are in hospitals, 396 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,437 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 417,446
· 10,285 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,437,295
· 65 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 19,809.
