The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,302 from 18,808 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 8.
The daily percentage of positive tests is at 12.2%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 516,510.
The active cases are 49,352.
Of the total, 5,374 patients are in hospitals, 463 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,572 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 445,653
· 7,716 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,577,957
· 94 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 21,505
Of the daily cases, 85.06% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 89.36% had not been vaccinated.
There were 636 new hospitalisations, of which 88.52% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
