The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,469 from 17,981 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 13.
The daily percentage of positive tests exceeds 19%.
The deaths over the past 24 hours are 93, including a one-year-old child from the city of Plovdiv.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 527,802.
The active cases are 54,065.
Of the total, 5,646 patients are in hospitals, 485 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,169 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 451,831
· 7,669 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,593,879
· 93 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 21,906
Of the daily cases, 87.60% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 91.40% had not been vaccinated.
There were 787 new hospitalisations, of which 91.49% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
