Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 47 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 47 from 2,987 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 8, 2023.

Test positivity rate is 1,5%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,295,701.

The active cases are 2,669.

Of the total, 212 patients are in hospitals, 29 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 105 recoveries;

• 72 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 3 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 63,83% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 66,67%.had not been vaccinated.

There were 18 new hospitalisations, of which 72,22% had not been vaccinated.
