The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 496 from 6,002 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 27.
The positivity rate is at 8.3%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 492,861.
The active cases are 42,325.
Of the total, 5,078 patients are in hospitals, 418 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 540 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 430,047
· 1,513 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,508,560
· 40 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 20,489
Of the 496 daily cases, 11.49% had been vaccinated ( 57 people).
Of those who died, 10.00% (4 people) had been vaccinated.
There were 165 new hospitalisations, of which 14 (8.48%) were vaccinated.
