Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha commented on the results of Bulgaria’s election and the victory of “Progressive Bulgaria”, led by Rumen Radev.
“We hope Bulgaria will continue its diplomatic support for Ukraine,” Sybiha said.
Previous Bulgarian governments supported Ukraine’s sovereignty against Russian aggression. Bulgaria has also provided military assistance to Ukraine and is one of the main suppliers of ammunition to the Ukrainian army through contracts with third countries.
