Members of the Initiative Committee, which nominated Rumen Radev and Iliana Yotova for a second term in office as President and Vice Presidents respectively, on October 11 submitted a petition with signatures to the Central Election Commission for their registration as candidates in the upcoming presidential elections.
The petition is supported by 4,275 people. The goal of the Initiative Committee is to win in the first round. They announced that they would run a positive campaign without compromising.
Anna Zarkova believes that the stakes of this vote are high. According to her, the dividing line is not between the parties, but between the clientele of corruption and its opponents. The co-chairs of the Initiative Committee again stressed why they stand behind Rumen Radev and Iliana Yotova.
