The missing 6-year-old child from Petrich (Southwestern Bulgaria) was found dead on November 13. She had been missing since yesterday. According to unconfirmed information, the body of the girl was found in a pit full of water near a neighborhood in the town.
Until now there is no definite information about the cause of the death. She was suffering from epilepsy and it is speculated that she might have had a seizure. The hypothesis about a murder is not ruled out, other hypotheses are also not ruled out, which are yet to be investigated.
The child went out with her grandmother around noon to collect wood. The woman went home and the little girl stayed behind to collect her toys. After she did not return for more than two hours, the parents started looking for her but did not find her and notified the law enforcement authorities.
The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor's office in Blagoevgrad.
