The National Statistical Institute reported a decrease in annual inflation. The annual inflation rate in February 2023 compared to February 2022 is 16%, Statistics also reported. It decreased by 0.7% from the previous month.
Year-to-date inflation (February 2023 vs. December 2022) is 2.1%, and the average annual inflation for the period March 2022-February 2023 vs. the period March 2021-February 2022 is 16.4%.
In February, the appreciation was 0.8 per cent. The largest price increases were for cucumbers, peppers, onions, and tomatoes. And in non-food items - in mobile phone services.
