The National Statistical Institute (NSI) has reported a deflation of 0.8% for the month of April, marking the first instance of deflation in 2025.
The largest price decreases were recorded in the healthcare, communications, transport, and recreation and culture sectors.
Annual inflation for April 2025, compared to the same month of the previous year, stood at 3.5%.
