A drug greenhouse was discovered in Bourgas district, Southeastern Bulgaria. Marijuana worth millions of BGN was found in the yard of a house in the village of Vinarsko.
The 61-year-old owner has been detained and police are searching for another person who is believed to be involved in the crime. Investigators described the drug greenhouse as extremely well equipped, with drip irrigation, special fertiliser and drying equipment.
There were approximately 10,000 marijuana plants seeded in the yard. Another 250 kg of the drug was dried and ready for sale. They were stored in the detainee's house.
The ready for sale marijuana alone is worth over 7.5 million BGN. This is one of the largest drug greenhouses detected by the authorities in the district of Bourgas.
