Russia's war against Ukraine has caused numerous crises around the world, President Rumen Radev said during his participation in the Delphi Security Forum on April 28.
He pointed out that Bulgaria is a perfect example of what it means to be dependent on just one energy supplier. He thanked Greece for providing access to its terminals for our country. He pointed out that no one could say when the war would end and that a ceasefire should be established in order to reach a diplomatic solution to the crisis.
According to him, the security architecture is collapsing before the eyes of the world and it is yet to be decided how it should be rebuilt. Commenting on the situation in Bulgaria, he described it as a "Bulgarian paradox" - despite holding five parliamentary elections in two years, the country is experiencing economic growth and the largest export growth in the EU.
