Bulgaria’s coastal city of Bourgas now has a "Sea World Underpass", after the pedestrian space in the area of the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" in "Slaveykov" residential area has been transformed into a real work of art.
The initiative came from young people from the "PODLEZNO" Foundation, 12th grade students at 51 "Elisaveta Bagryana" school - Sofia and volunteers from Bourgas who in about 3 weeks turned the facility into a sea world.

The young people have transformed the space into an underwater world that combines safe and pleasant crossing and connects art with the urban environment.

Now residents of Bourgas will be able to "dive", when crossing the underpass, in the company of many sea creatures - friendly dolphins, golden seahorses, curious seals and others.
The underpass was painted under the project "proSTRANSTVAME" under the programme "Debuts" of the National Fund "Culture".
