In an operation carried out on September 10, Sofia police detained 15 illegal migrants without identity documents.
Shortly after noon today, a group of ten men was spotted at the entrance of Trakia motorway. Officers from the 8th police station responded to the signal and detained ten men, three of them were minors. They were undocumented and identified themselves as Syrian citizens.
Minutes after midnight, five more foreign nationals were detained in Student City, also without passports and also claiming to be Syrians. 12 of the migrants were accommodated in a Home for Temporary Accommodation of Foreigners in Sofia, the three minors were handed over to the 8th Regional Police Department for protection.
