Due to a rise in the Covid-19 cases and Kyustendil now being classified as Covid-19 dark red zone, the Regional Crisis Management Headquarters declared additional anti-epidemic measures, which will remain in effect until November 10 this year.
“All in-person attendance group activities in language and childcare centers, as well as private events such as weddings and christenings, are suspended. Congresses, music festivals, and fairs are also put on hold. Indoor mass sports events re suspended and those taking place outdoors will be held without an audience.” district governor, Engr. Fitness centers, sports halls, and swimming pools will be temporarily closed, as will all museums and galleries.
Students will study on a rotating basis in accordance with a schedule, prepared by the Regional Department of Education. During the whole period, students from 1st to 4th grade will remain in the classrooms, while the rest will change between in-person attendance classes and remote learning.
Visiting patients in hospitals and care institutions is not permitted. Gambling houses and casinos will be open until 10 pm, operate at 50% of the capacity and wearing of protective masks is obligatory.
Cinemas and theaters will continue working at 30% seating capacity.
