The initiative comes from the committee on friendly relations with Bulgaria in Jerusalem and its chairperson, the lawyer Moshe Aloni.
The future nomination was officially announced during the meeting of Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov with the Bulgarian community in Israel on 25th of February.
