11 Sets of Twins Were Born in Pleven in 2017

Eleven sets of twins were born in Avis Medica Clinic in the North-Western Bulgarian City of Pleven in 2017, the hospital said on 4^th of January.

In 2017, the newborns in Avis Medica are 581: 303 boys; 267 girls and 11 sets of twins.

The last baby of 2017 is a girl, born on 30^th of December at 3.55 pm. The baby was born by cesarean section, at 3,500 g, and 50 cm.

The first baby born in 2018 is a boy born on 3^rd of January at 2.55 am. The baby was born 3,290 grams and 51 cm, by cesarean.

The largest number of babies for 2017 were born in the district of Pleven – 2,376. Their number is by 174 less compared to the previous 2016, according to data from the National Information System on Births.
