As of 11th of January, 15 electric cars with drivers will be available to the European delegates for the 6 months of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. The cars will provide daily transfers to their work meetings or the hotels they are staying in. The electric cars will be in the parking lot of Terminal 2 at Sofia Airport.
They work with electricity and do not emit any harmful emissions. They are provided by a private company in partnership with the state for the Bulgarian EU Presidency. A special information pool at the airport will give directions to the delegates to electric vehicles. Three new charging stations are installed at Sofia Airport, which after the end of the Presidency can be used by the members of the public.
