180 million euros become available to Bulgarian businesses after an agreement signed between the Ministry of Innovation and the European Investment Bank. The money will be made available to businesses after ratification of the agreement in the National Assembly.
"We have managed to negotiate something extremely important in terms of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in our country - a serious resource that will support and strengthen the image of our ministry as a ministry of entrepreneurs, young and smart people," said Alexander Pulev, caretaker Minister of Innovation and Growth.
"With this 180 million in different instruments we will support innovation growth smart infrastructure, everything that business needs to be able to meet the challenges," said Lilyana Pavlova, EIB Vice President.
"These funds are, not only timely, but I think they are the right amount to support small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria. After ratification of the agreement signed today in the National Assembly, application procedures will be opened for small and medium-sized businesses in your country," said Hubert Cottogni, European Investment Fund (EIF).
