Bulgaria’s police arrested 75 illegal migrants in Sofia in the past 2 days. They were without any ID documents and claimed they were citizens of Afghanistan. The illegal migrants were detained during one of the regular operation of the Bulgarian police against illegal migration.
On 16th of February, the police arrested a group of 25 men in Ljubljana Street in Sofia, who were found to not have ID douments and cliamed to be from Afganistan.
On 17th of February, the police detained another group of 25 men in Bansko street in Sofia, apparently aged between 25 and 40, also without ID documents and further 25 men, in Moderno Predgradie neighbourhood.
