79 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed over the past 24 hours in Bulgaria from a total of 1777 samples, the national information system said on June 10.
The total cases in the country now rose to 2889.
Of the latest cases, 16 were in the district of Pazardzhik, 16 in the district of Sliven, 18 in the city of Sofia, 5 in the district of Sofia, 12 in Shoumen, 4 in Pleven, 2 each in the districts of Bourgas and Razgrad, and one each in the districts of Vratsa, Kurdzhali, Plovdiv and Yambol.
The number of active cases is 1099.
The number of people who have recovered is 1623, including 36 in the past 24 hours.
161 of the people diagnosed with Covid-19 are in hospitals, 13 of them in intensive care.
The fatalities are 167. Three people died over the past 24 hours.
The confirmed cases of coronavirus of workers in the toy factory in Dospat are more than 50. The results from 160 more samples from contacts of the infected are expected to be ready. The results of 60 more samples from Sarnitsa outbreak are also expected.
