He was also given a second test and until the results come out, tourists at the hotel will stay in their rooms. They are advised not to leave their rooms. Leaving the complex is forbidden.

The Bulgarian family arrived in Teneriffe yesterday, February 24, for a holiday. They learned about the ban from a letter from the health authorities, slipped under the door and a reference to the hotel reception desk for more information.

According to a hotel guest quoted by Europa Press, the visitng Italian doctor who tested positive for coronavirus had been in the hotel for six days, and "in the meantime, probably five or six hundred people must have left the hotel and returned to different locations in Europe ".
