A general practitioner from the village of Kraishte (Blagoevgrad district, South Bulgaria) died of coronavirus last night (August 23) in a clinic in Sofia.
Dr. Musa Vaklyov was admitted in "Pirogov" emergency hospital together with his wife and son, who also tested positive for COVID-19.
Dr. Vaklyov's medical practice is in the village of Babyak. Most likely, he got infected while treating patients from the outbreak that occurred in the area in the sewing workshop in Razlog.
The doctor went to the seaside with his family, where he showed more serious symptoms and was immediately placed in a medical facility for treatment.
His wife and son, who are also medical professionals are in serious condition and are in Pirogov hospital in Sofia. The son, who is a doctor at a hospital in Blagoevgrad, was intubated and is in a more serious condition.
