April 2 snap elections: First exit polls by "Gallup" at 20.00 - WCC-DB - 25.6%, GERB-UDF - 24.8%, TISP on the borderline of the 4% electoral threshold

First exit polls by "Gallup" polling agency, show contested first place by “We Continue the Change”-"Democraic Bulgaria" and GERB-UDF in the April 2 general elections.

Bulgaria goes to the polls

The results of the exit polls are as follows:

• “We Continue the Change” – “Democratic Bulgaria” (WCC-DB) - 25.6%
• 
  GERB-UDF - 24.8%
• 
  Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) - 13.0%
• 
  Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP)- 10.0%
• 
  “There is Such a People” - 4.0%

The parties under the 4% electoral threshold:

• “Bulgaria Ascending” - 2.8%
• “The Left” - 2.2%
• "National Movement for Stability and Progress" (NDSV) - 0.4%

3.8% of the voters marked “I do not support anyone” option on the ballot.

Voter turnout was 37.4%.

The allocation of seats in the next Parliament is as follows:

• "We Continue the Change"- “Democratic Bulgaria” – 67
• GERB-UDF – 65
• "Vazrazhdane" – 37
• Movement for Rights and Freedoms - 34
• Bulgarian Socialist Party – 26
• There is Such a People - 11
