The Bourgas airport bus bombing trial started at the Specialized Criminal Court on 17th of January. According to the prosecutor's office, the low level of security in the free zone at the time made it easier for the perpetrator of the attack.
The two suspects helping the bomber are still wanted. The search continues. There is no trace of them so far.
Witnesses have been interviewed today. A taxi driver said a colleague of his had passed by the bomber, but did not suspect anything.
On 18th of July, 2012, a bomb exploded in a bus with Israeli tourists just arriving for their vacation in the Bulgarian coastal city of Bourgas. The blast killed five Israeli citizens, a Bulgarian bus driver and 35 people were injured. The seventh victim was the bomber himself.
