Buffer parking in Sofia free-of-charge on December 18 to reduce air pollution

Buffer parking in Sofia tomorrow, December 18, will be free of charge as part of the measures taken by the municipality due to increased levels of fine dust particles in the air, a statement on the municipality’s websire says (air.sofia.bg).

In addition to the free-of-charge parking, Sofia Municipality urges residents not to use their cars, but to use the public transport.

The planned measures include extraordinary inspections at industrial, transport and household sources of fine particulate pollution, as well as at construction sites in the city.
