Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov arrive on 1st of February in Brussels, where they will attend a concert dedicated to the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Before that, the President will have an audience with the Belgian King Philippe and the Prime Minister will attend a conference on the new role of the Balkans.
Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov arrive on 1st of February in Brussels, where they will attend a concert dedicated to the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Before that, the President will have an audience with the Belgian King Philippe and the Prime Minister will attend a conference on the new role in the Balkans.
President Radev will start his working visit with an audience to the Belgian King Philip in the royal palace in the center of Brussels. Later, he will speak at the Bulgarian Embassy with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Belgium.
Prime Minister Borissov will participate in the conference "The New Role of the Balkans - Solutions for More Security and Better Management of Migration". The forum is organised by the Bavarian political foundation "Hans Seidel", and the forum will be attended by the Minister of the Bulgarian Presidency, Lilyana Pavlova, as well as Eva Maydell, an MEP from GERB, the majority partner in the ruling cialition..
In the evening Radev and Borissov will deliver short speeches to open the official concert dedicated to the Bulgarian Presidency at the Centre of Fine Arts in Brussels. The concert will feature world-famous soprano Sonia Yoncheva, pianist Lyudmil Angelov, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Nayden Todorov and the female choir "Vanya Moneva".
