Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Attends Munich Security Conference

At the Security Conference in Munich on 16^th of February, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov insisted that European and global investments focus on infrastructure and education rather than new fences and military actions.

At a bilateral meeting between Borissov and his Turkish counterpart, Binali Yıldırım, the importance of infrastructure projects in the region was highlighted, emphasizing the important role of Trans-European Corridors 4, 8 and 10 that provide connectivity in Europe. Yıldırım stressed that the implementation of these projects will be in accordance with the European requirements. They also discussed the European Union-Turkey relations.
