According to tourist industry representatives, the issues with the bathing sea water quality has been solved to a large degree. This year, several Bulgarian beaches at the Black Sea were awarded the European Blue Flag certificate which is attributed for meeting stringent criteria such a high standard of water quality, cleanliness of the beach itself, presence of safety equipment and other facilities.
