Pironkova reeled off 10 games in succession on the resumption of her match with Agniezska Radwanksa to turn a 2-6 0-3 deficit into a 2-6 6-3 6-3 victory.
The match was postponed several times due to bad weather.
In the quarterfinal, Pironkova will play Samantha Stosur from Australia.
