All measures related to the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the European Union have already been implemented and it will be officially opened on 12 January, said Minister Liliyana Pavlova in Pravets after a meeting with the municipal councilors of Sofia on 19 December.
The official calendar of events will be adopted on 20th of December at a sittting of Sofia Municipal Council.
300 events are scheduled to take part in the period of the presidency.
A summit will take place on 16 and 17 May. There will be 32 ministerial meetings and 50 conferences. 1,500 experts will work on these events.
