Business representatives from Bulgaria and Greece in the morning on August 20 staged a protest on both sides of the border demanding that all border checkpoints be opened for lorries transporting goods, because they suffer losses.
According to them, the Ilinden-Exohi border crossing should be opened as soon as possible.
The checkpoint was closed on July 22 by decision of the Greek authorities.
The deadline for the re-opening now is August 31.
