On 15th of January, Bulgaria’s President Roumen Radev met with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was on a visit to Bulgaria.
This is the first visit of the Japanese Prime Minister in Bulgaria. Shinzo Abe arrived in Bulgaria at the invitation of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov together with 30 representatives of Japanese business.
On 14th of January, Borissov and Abe discussed the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and Bulgaria's willingness to work to expand the EU-Japan strategic partnership within the next 6 months.
In his twitter profile, the Japanese prime minister published a photo with the snow-capped dome of Sofia church "Sveta Nedelya".
