The Bulgarian student Emanuil Yordanov from the town of Pazarzhik is the winner of the grand prix award “Discovery of the Competition” at the 12th International Competition “Young Virtuosos”, which was held from 28th of March to 3rd of April 2016 in Sofia.
Young people from 20 countries competed in the categories “Piano” and “Classical Guitar”.
“Young Virtuosos” competition is a member of the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth - EMCY.
The first edition was created in 2004, when Milka Miteva suggested it as a way to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of first Bulgarian Music educational institution - the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov"
