Bulgarian children will present Bulgaria in the Second World Junior Compatriot Games which is held in Sochi from 23rd to 29th of April.
The Bulgarian athletes will compete in two categories: swimming and volleyball. They are descendants of Russian compatriots living in Bulgaria.
The young athletes will compete in 6 sports – basketball, mini football, volleyball, chess, table tennis and swimming.
The emphasis in the games this year will be the dialogue in Russian language, acquaintance with the Russian culture and literature.
One of the messages at the opening of this year’s games was the love for sports as a common theme for the young participants.
