Bulgaria will mark the start of the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the EU with a concert in Brussels tonight, 1st of February. The event will take place in the Centre for Fine Arts in the Belgian capital. Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will deliver speeches. The concert will feature Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra.
Before that, the head of state was at an audience with the Belgian king Philippe. They talked about the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and especially the young people. Aviation was also among the topics of the conversation because both the Belgian King and the Bulgarian President were pilots. Rumen Radev invited King Philippe to visit Bulgaria.
