Bulgarian National Bank announced the increase of the Base Interest Rate (BIR) to 1.30% from 1 December 2022, after it was raised to 0.59% from 1 November 2022.
It has no direct impact on deposit and lending rates in the country.
They are mainly determined by interest rates set by the European Central Bank.
