By order of Bulgaria’s Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications, the Chief Director of chief directorate “Motor Vehicle Inspection”, Vladimir Kolev, was released from the post, the transport ministry announced on 11th of April.
The chief directorate “Motor Vehicle Inspection” is part of the structure of the Executive Agency “Motor Vehicles Administration”.
Vladimir Kolev was dismissed because of insufficient control at the subordinated district units of the Executive Agency “Motor Vehicles Administration” resulting in shortcomings in the work and irregular practices.
The dismissal takes place after the head of the Motor Vehicle Administration Agency, Tsvetelin Tsvetanov and other officials from the agency were arrested in an anti-corruption raid on 31st of March.
