The mayor of the Bulgarian coastal town of Nessebar, who is also a candidate for a new term in office, remains in custody, the specialized court ruled on October 25.
He was arrested on October 23 after an investigation into vote buying.
Other three people who were detained at the same time also remain in custody.
According to the investigation, they promised 100 BGN per voter. The mayor himself was the leader of the scheme.
