CHAIR OF BULGARIAN INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION: FREQUENT CHANGES IN THE LEGISLATION IS A HINDRANCE FOR INVESTORS

Frequent changes in Bulgarian regulatory environment is a hindrance for the development of business. This is the reason for which lately investors bypass Bulgaria, Bozhidar Danev, the Chairperson of the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) said in an interview for the BNT morning programme "The Day Begins" on 18th of April.

One of the criticisms by a number of international institutions is the frequent changes in the Bulgarian regulatory environment, he said.

For a long time, BIA has discussed the introduction of a parliamentary board in order to moderate the activities of the MPs in issuing so many changes, Danev commented.

The interesting thing is that the largest number of changes for the period between 2010 and 2015 have been made to the Labour Code and the Law on Health Insurance.
