Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 100 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 100 from 2,501 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 25.

Test positivity rate is 4%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,163,806.

The active cases are 82,111.

Of the total, 470 patients are in hospitals, 40 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 231 recoveries;

· 35 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 3 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 71,00% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 10 new hospitalisations, of which 70,00% had not been vaccinated.
