The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 109 from 3,049 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on September 23.
The percentage of the people infected with the virus is 3.6%.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad – 25; Bourgas – 9; Varna – 6; Veliko Turnovo – 1; Vratsa – 3; Gabrovo – 2; Kardzhali – 3; Kyustendil – 3; Montana -1; Pazardzhik – 1; Pleven – 1; Plovdiv – 7; Sliven - 2; Smolyan – 6; Sofia city – 30; Stara Zagora – 12;Targovishte – 4; Haskovo – 1; Yambol - 2.
The total cases confirmed in the country since the start of the epidemic rose to 19,123.
The active cases are 4,608.
Of the total, 716 patients are in hospitals, 31 of them being in serious condition.
The total recoveries are 13,748. Of them, 21 were registered over the past 24 hours.
Two more Covid-19 related deaths were reported thus bringing the total to 767.
