The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 154 out of 5,856 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 18 shows.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad - 29; Bourgas – 9; Varna – 4; Vratsa – 2; Gabrovo – 2; Dobrich – 3; Kardzhali – 1; Kyustndil – 3; Lovech – 1; Pazardzhik – 7; Pernik – 1; Plovdiv – 9; Rousse – 3; Silistra – 1; Sliven 3; Sofia district – 4; Sofia city – 47; Stara Zagora – 10; Targovishte – 3: Haskovo – 1; Shoumen – 2; Yambol – 3.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 18,544.
The active cases are 4,404.
Of the total, 744 are in hospitals, 37 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 150. The total recoveries are 13,391.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 1,036, including 10 new registered overnight.
Ten Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 749.
