The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 160 from 3,500 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on September 23.
The percentage of the people infected with the virus is 4.5%.
The largest number of the latest cases were reported in the Sofia (38) and Bourgas (25).
The total cases confirmed in the country since the start of the epidemic rose to 19,280.
The active cases are 4,637.
Of the total, 726 patients are in hospitals, 29 of them being in intensive care.
The total recoveries are 13,867. Of them, which means that 72% of the patients with Covid-19 have recovered.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 1076, including 13 new cases.
Twelve more Covid-19 related deaths were reported over the past 24 hours thus bringing the total to 779.
